Kendal Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries Centre

Chartered Physiotherapists,
registered with the Health Professions Council

What is Physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy is a health-care profession which emphasises the use of physical approaches in the treatment and prevention of disease and disability.

Chartered Physiotherapists receive extensive training in anatomy, physiology and pathology. They therefore have an excellent understanding of how the body works and how it responds to injury, trauma and disease.

Why see an independent Physio?

Specialist knowledge - the Physiotherapists working in the practice have considerable experience in dealing with all musculo-skeletal problems. They regularly attend postgraduate training courses to keep up to date with the very latest ideas and techniques.

Prompt Treatment - means a quicker recovery and return to work or sport. We can usually offer an appointment within 2 days.

Convenience and Flexibility - we can offer appointments at various times of the day and on certain evenings.

Individual Treatment - individual attention and continual reassessment help to facilitate early and safe return to normal activity.
